Principal Engineer (.NET & Cloud)

We are looking for a Principal Engineer (.NET & Cloud) to work hybrid in Porto or Lisbon in Portugal who’s eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!

What is this challenge about

• Define and drive the technical vision aligned with business and modern architecture principles
• Lead architectural decisions across .NET, modular monoliths, and microservices
• Design scalable and resilient cloud-based solutions
• Promote modern engineering practices, DevOps culture and CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure strong observability, monitoring and quality standards
• Act as a technical reference, supporting innovation and cross-team collaboration

What we are looking for

• +5 Years experience with .NET and complex application development
• Strong background in modular monolith and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Experience with integration tools (e.g., Kafka, Apigee, Solace)
• Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with unit and E2E testing and automation
• Strong analytical skills and autonomy
• Fluent level of English & Portuguese (mandatory);
• Availability to work hybrid 2x per week in Porto or Lisbon in Portugal
