Currently, we are seeking an Engineering Manager who’s eager to continuing to evolve, thrives on challenges, and is ready to embark in a new opportunity.

💼 Responsabilities:

• Lead one or two development teams, serving as a people manager and Scrum Master, ensuring effective collaboration, execution, and delivery;
• Act as a sparring partner to Product Owners, deeply understanding detailed requirements and technical solutions for user stories;
• Organize and adapt team ceremonies to meet the teams’ needs and maintain efficient workflows;
• Provide oversight on code quality, reviewing pull requests, offering constructive feedback, and monitoring metrics in tools like SonarQube to maintain high development standards;
• Collaborate with expert talents to identify and prioritize enhancements in alignment with business objectives;
• Translate and effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Contribute to development efforts with knowledge of .NET C#, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, and cloud environments;
• Manage tasks, resolve requests, and ensure clear reporting on project evolution and delivery timelines;
• Utilize cloud incident management and collaborative tools like JIRA and Confluence to support team productivity;
• Drive engineering productivity metrics while avoiding counterproductive behaviors.

👨‍💻 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
• Minimum of 4 years working with .NET C#;
• Experience as a Scrum Master and in recruiting/managing teams;
• Proficiency in .NET C# programming and clean, reusable coding practices;
• Strong understanding of cloud and microservices architectures, including CQRS patterns and DDD architecture;
• Familiarity with OpenAPI specifications and distributed programming models;
• Experience with cloud-based software delivery and Agile methodologies;
• Proficiency in SOLID principles, clean code practices, and software development architecture;
• Knowledge of tools like Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Search;
• Effective communication and collaboration skills;
• Fluent level of English;
• Living in Lisbon (hybrid role).
