Fullstack Developer (Ruby/React)

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer (Ruby/React) to work in Lisbon who’s eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!

What is this challenge about

• Develop and maintain application code in Java (JSE and JEE);
• Develop and maintain end-to-end web applications using Ruby on Rails for the backend and Next.js/React for the frontend;
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to transform technical and business requirements into scalable features;
• Create efficient and secure APIs for integration with internal and external systems;
• Ensure code quality through automated testing and best development practices;
• Actively participate in code reviews, suggesting improvements and maintaining the team’s technical standards;
• Optimize the performance and usability of web applications;
• Contribute to the project’s architectural and technical decisions.

What we are looking for

• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails in backend application development;
• Hands-on experience with React and Next.js for building modern, responsive user interfaces;
• Familiarity with integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs;
• Knowledge of automated testing (RSpec, Jest, or similar frameworks);
• Experience with version control using Git;
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong organizational skills;
• Based in Lisbon (hybrid role).
