Functional Analyst

Currently, we are seeking an exceptional Functional Analyst who thrives on complex challenges, and is ready to seize this fantastic opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in an agile software development team, incrementally developing working software in sprints (using scrum).
• Understand business processes and requirements related to gas flow management.
• Collaborate with the team to break down a business requirement into estimated user stories, refine them to tasks and deliver user stories within a sprint.
•  Analyze user stories and translate them into the most appropriate conceptual model, while respecting the existing architecture and systems.
• Create business process and functional system documentation using UML- artifacts (use case diagrams, activity diagrams, information models,…);
• Create and execute test scenarios and assist the users during the execution of user acceptance tests.
• Provide support to end-users on (critical) production systems.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in Functional Analysis;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Knowledge in accounting or management controlling;
• Good knowledge of UML and UML modelling tools;
• Experience with relational databases and being able to write simple database queries in SQL;
• Good communication skills;
• Fluent level of English and Portuguese.
