 What is this challenge about

• Perform manual and automated testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test cases covering functional, regression, exploratory, usability, accessibility, and performance testing.
• Execute automated mobile tests using appropriate frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and improve overall product quality.
• Validate mobile app behavior across different OS versions, devices, and screen sizes.
• Perform performance, compatibility, and security-related testing on mobile applications.
• Analyze logs and debug issues using tools such as Logcat and Xcode Instruments.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify, report, and track defects.
• Ensure accessibility compliance using standards and tools such as WCAG, VoiceOver, and platform accessibility scanners.
• Continuously improve testing strategies, automation coverage, and QA processes.

What we are looking for

• +4 years of experience as a QA Engineer with strong focus on mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Solid experience with manual testing techniques, including exploratory, regression, usability, accessibility, and performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation frameworks such as Espresso, UI Automator, Appium, and XCUITest.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Android and iOS platforms, including OS version differences and device fragmentation.
• Familiarity with modern mobile application architectures such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Ability to analyze logs and debug issues using tools like Logcat and Xcode Instruments.
• Knowledge of mobile app lifecycle, interruptions, and system behavior.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Passion for delivering high-quality mobile user experiences through rigorous testing and automation.experience as a QA Engineer with strong focus on mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Living in Lisbon (hybrid role)
• Fluent level of English.
