Currently, we are seeking a Senior Data Scientist who’s eager to continuing to evolve, thrives on challenges, and is ready to embark in a new opportunity.

💼 Responsabilities:

• Explore, test, and find the best algorithmic solutions for the issues at hand;
• Contribute to the creation of frameworks that use technical solutions for known problems, promoting the sharing of solutions across projects and departments;
• Promote the adoption of frameworks that accelerate the resolution of machine learning problems at scale;
• Select features, build, and optimize classifiers using machine learning techniques;
• Perform data mining using state-of-the-art methods;
• Improve data collection procedures to include relevant information for building analytical systems;
• Process, clean, and verify the integrity of the data used for analysis;
• Execute ad-hoc analyses and present results in a clear and concise manner;
• Participate in the creation of machine learning pipelines, from data collection to building and implementing inference services.

👨‍💻 Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in data science or similar roles;
• Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Random Forests, MLP, LSTM, among others;
• Experience with common data science tools like Python, R, Pandas, NumPy, etc. Expertise in at least one of these is highly valued;
• Strong applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical tests, regression, etc;
• Advanced scripting and programming skills;
• Experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, and distributed model training;
• Proficiency in query languages like SQL, Spark SQL, etc;
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, CosmosDB, among others;
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with data visualization tools;
• Excellent communication skills.
