💼 Responsabilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of the portfolio of applications, their strengths, and weaknesses to propose solutions for current and future challenges;
• Create design documents and maintain documentation to support code reuse and maintenance;
• Leverage industry trends, tools, and personal experiences to work with the team in improving software, environments, and processes;
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, removing obstacles and keeping projects on track;
• Translate project goals and product roadmaps into organized and actionable technical tasks;
• Offer technical support and guidance in resolving critical issues, ensuring timely delivery of solutions;
• Mentor and upskill team members, fostering growth and technical proficiency within the team;
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, providing insights and updates;
• Deliver high-quality code with comprehensive unit and integration testing.

👨‍💻 Requirements:

• +7 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on API development;
• Previous experience leading a development team for at least one year;
• Proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot 2/3, JUnit, and Maven/Gradle;
• Experience with Swagger and Hibernate for API development;
• Comfortable with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GCP for containerization and cloud management;
• Familiarity with GitLab for repository management and CI/CD pipelines, and with SonarQube and Veracode for static code analysis;
• Knowledge of Apigee for API management and Grafana for monitoring;
• Strong knowledge of both MySQL and NoSQL databases;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Good communication and collaboration abilities;
• Fluent level of English;
• Living in Lisboa, Coimbra or Braga (hybrid role).
