Technical Architect

We are looking for a Technica Architect to work hybrid in Porto who’s eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!

What is this challenge about

• Define, evolve, and maintain technical standards, blueprints, and technology roadmaps across multiple domains.
• Act as the guardian of foundational technologies, ensuring consistency, security, and interoperability.
• Shape core platforms and architectural principles that enable efficient, scalable, and sustainable products and solutions.
• Lead technical vision and support engineering teams on the adoption of platform products, engineering guidelines, and best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies through analysis, PoCs, and pilots, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Co-create and maintain technological evolution roadmaps aligned with organisational strategy and domain stakeholders.
• Define and update architectural principles and technical baselines applied throughout the tech portfolio.
• Work closely with product development, platform, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure adoption of new technical capabilities.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Platform Engineering
• Strong knowledge of AI architectures, Cloud-Native design, platforms, and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience defining and governing technical standards, blueprints, and technology roadmaps
• Solid background in software engineering and DevOps practices
• Ability to operate as a cross-functional technical reference, influencing engineering and architecture teams
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with exposure to executive-level discussions
• Valued: Experience with Observability, Security-by-Design, FinOps, and SRE;
• Valued: Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate) and agile methodologies
• Fluent in Portuguese.
• Availability to work hybrid (2 days/week onsite in Porto)
