Senior Backend Engineer (M365/Graph API)

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (M365/Graph API) to work remotely in Portugal who’s eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!

What is this challenge about

• Designing and implementing robust backend integrations with Microsoft 365 / Graph API
• Handling high-volume and bulk-operation scenarios, addressing API throttling and rate limits
• Improving workflows that are slow or unreliable through resilient engineering solutions
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, ensuring high quality standards
• Participating in rigorous code reviews and collaborating in a remote-first setup
• Delivering predictable, fault-tolerant, and performant integrations
• Communicating technical decisions clearly and maintaining ownership of outcomes

What we are looking for

• 6+ years of experience in backend engineering across multiple projects
• Strong experience with Go or Java
• Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Graph API
• Deep understanding of API throttling, rate limits, long-running operations, and bulk-processing challenges
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• High sense of ownership, accountability, and quality discipline
• Fluent level of Portuguese and English (mandatory);
• Availability to work remotely in Portugal
• Candidates must be residing already in Portugal.
