About the role
As a data scientist, you will be responsible for leading the design of solutions and managing the teams that develop them within a project. You will also be responsible for selecting a team with the appropriate skillset or ensuring that the team acquires the required capabilities in due time. You must also ensure proper solution delivery, monitoring, and governance using MLOps.
As a part of your job, you will:
- Leverage data and domain knowledge to solve business problems and create quantifiable value;
- Work cross-functionally to define problem statements, collect data, build analytical models, and design suitable solutions;
- Build and maintain (or lead the development of) data-driven optimization models, experiments, forecasting algorithms, and capacity constraint models;
- Lead teams into delivering models using best MLOps practices;
- Communicate final recommendations and support decision-making.
What are we looking for?
- Degree in an analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Management Science);
- Scripting with Python and nice to have one of these languages (e.g., Pyspark, Spark-mllib);
- Experienced with packages such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, matplotlib, and tensorflow/pytorch;
- Minimum 2 years of project experience as a Data Scientist;
- Professional experience with Java, Scala, or Spark;
- Experience working with and leading teams in a project environment;
- Experience in delivering projects using MLOps best practices;
- Proficiency in English.
