SAP Fiori Front-End Engineer

We are looking for a SAP Fiori Front-End Engineer to work in Lisbon, Coimbra, Porto or Braga who’s eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!

What is this challenge about

• Design and develop custom web components using standard Web Components APIs;
• Build UI components with SAP UI5 Web Components for consistent SAP Fiori UX;
• Implement micro frontend architecture patterns for modular applications;
• Create design system components with proper styling, theming, and accessibility;
• Develop responsive layouts for multiple devices and screen sizes;
• Implement state management within components and across micro frontends;
• Ensure components meet WCAG accessibility standards;
• Write comprehensive documentation and usage examples for components;
• Optimize component performance and bundle sizes;
• Implement automated visual regression testing.

What we are looking for

• Strong knowledge of Web Components (Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, HTML Templates, ES Modules);
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+) and advanced CSS (Grid, Flexbox, CSS-in-JS);
• Familiarity with component libraries, build tools (Webpack, Rollup, Vite), and testing (Jest, Playwright);
• Understanding of design systems, design tokens, theming, and style guides;
• Experience with SAP UI5 Web Components, SAP Fiori Design System, CAP with UI5, and SAP Build;
• Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG), documentation, and Storybook for component libraries;
• Preferred: micro frontend module federation, SAP Fiori Elements, i18n/l10n, monorepo tools, and Web Vitals optimization.
